San Diego Museum Month is back this February and with it comes half-off admission to 45 diverse museums across the county. I am really excited to take advantage of this amazing promotion and experience as many museums as possible. From art and history museums to children's museums, here are some of the exhibitions I can't wait to explore with my family.

The San Diego Botanic Garden located in Encinitas is much more than a garden. Boasting two excellent interactive play areas it is an adventurous place for families who want to explore different environments and learn about nature, water, music and more. For art lovers and kids that enjoy sculptures it is the perfect place to hike around and discover the many exceptional works of art located throughout the Garden.

Kids can join Scholastic's Ms. Frizzle™ for hands-on science activities (every Sunday at 12:15 and 2:15 PM).
