From dinosaurs to mastodons, discover the rich fossil history of our region by visiting Fossil Mysteries at the San Diego Natural History Museum (theNAT). In this major exhibition, created by the museum staff, guests will be able to ponder prehistoric mysteries, examine the strong fossil evidence from the Museum's collection, and use scientific tools to discover answers. Traveling through a 75-million-year timeline, from the age of dinosaurs to the Ice Ages, experience an unfolding of the prehistory of southern California and Baja California, Mexico.

The San Diego Natural History Museum (theNAT), located in beautiful Balboa Park, features fascinating exhibitions (both permanent and traveling) along with a full list of family programs and giant-screen films with a focus on natural science. Kids can join Scholastic's Ms. Frizzle™ for hands-on science activities (every Sunday at 12:15 and 2:15 PM).
